my art
I create because creativity is embedded deep, deep within my bones. I have always had a love of simplicity and am hugely inspired by nature, people and places I have visited, spirituality and the stories of a life lived. In my art, I work with natural materials; shaping and combining objects in new ways giving old/used/raw items new life.
My sculptures are made from rustic recycled wire from my fathers farm and found objects from the many miles of beaches not fare from my house. Growing up my father installed a love of nature and a sense of humbleness by its beauty and strength in me.
As a result, my work is inspired by the landscapes of my childhood farm intertwined with the colors of the sea and the howling wind of the rugged, but beautiful, west coast of Denmark which I currently call home...

my makers mark
I use to create under the name Idestudiet™ so you might have encountered some of my sculptures with that name.
I have, however, decided on a new beginning including the new name Walking Wilder™ by Bark. after a long break from creating due to an extensive battle with Stress. Most of my Sculptures have my Makers Mark (shown above here to the left) except for very early work. My "images" and wall-art are signed and dated.
All my work is protected under the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works.
